Purebred Netherland Dwarfs

We raised rabbits from 1996 - 2003 when we sold out. We started homeschooling and our children started pursuing other hobbies like archery and baseball. When we sold out - we raised purebred Netherland Dwarfs in Siamese Smoke Pearls, Siamese Sables, Chestnuts and Blue Eyed Whites. We also raised Mini Rex in Chocolate, Black, Blue, Lilacs, Opals & Brokens of those varieties. In the fall of 2012, two of our children started showing interest in rabbits and getting back into going to shows, so we once again got back into the rabbit habit. We went back to Netherland Dwarfs and Mini Rex. We went back to Chocolate, Black, Lilac and brokens of those varieties. The Netherland Dwarf colors we went back to are Black Otter, Brokens, Siamese Smoke Pearl, Siamese Sables and Blue Eyed Whites.

In the winter of 2015-2016, our daughter lost interest in showing the Mini Rex and to be honest, while I miss their soft, luxurious coats, I didn’t miss running the tables back and forth to be sure everyone was on the table and the lack of spending time together as a family which was one of the reasons we chose rabbits as a hobby and we decided to sell out of Mini Rex and concentrate on Netherland Dwarfs, specifically Brokens, Himalyans, and Blue Eyed Whites for her. So now our colors for Netherland Dwarfs are: Black, Blue Eyed White, Black Otter, Blue Otter, Siamese Smoke Pearls, Siamese Sables, Himalayan, Chestnut and Brokens (mainly Black, Black Otter & Chestnuts in the broken variety.)
